Friday the 13th
Well... I'm not one for superstitions... so I'm not really worried about it. #Feelgoodfriday - not really one for hashtags either.
Its Friday and coming close to the weekend, so what can we do in this wonderful sunny weather? I'm going out this afternoon to take some pictures of East Cowes! And I'm excited. I'm going around the town looking for landmarks to snap. East Cowes is such a little gem of a town, and has so much to offer. It has victorian houses all the way through to the new builds. But there is some beautiful architecture. The Town Hall was built in 1897 and gifted to the East Cowes Council by Mrs Amy White, wife of the shipbuilder John White. It boasts a large clock in the front centre, that is reminiscent of the clock tower in Back To The Future, and I remember back to my childhood of pantos and Father Christmas and presents.
Now available to hire, the Town Hall is as much part of East Cowes as its natural counterpart - The Umbrella Tree. As much a part of East Cowes as Big Ben is to London, the town is steeped in memories and history that we love.
